Assess pain points and opportunities and aggregate to management level. Determine if the findings meet the drivers
and strategy that are formulated in the original project charter.
Detail alternatives and a recommendation on how to proceed.
For each alternative establish a rough approach, timeline and costs.
Organize a workshop to decide how to proceed:
a. Input: current state understanding,
b. Participants: management team (highest level for the project engagement)
c. Procedure:
i. Recapitulate the project objective and scope
ii. Present current state understanding so far
iii. Moderate towards a conclusion whether or not the project is on the right track.
